The 3e Russia-Africa Summit and its associated economic and humanitarian forum will be held on 28 and 29 October 2026 in Moscow.
According to Anton Kobiakov, adviser to President Vladimir Putin, the forum will ensure the further development of strategic cooperation between Moscow and its African partners, based on the fundamental principles of mutual respect, balanced consideration of interests and orientation towards real benefit for the people.
While the political dimension of the Summit is important, its economic dimension is no less important. In fact, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that he wanted to give the 2026 edition of the Russia-Africa forum a more dense economic content than the previous ones, covering trade, energy, security and investment.
Moreover, on 28 October, the economic and humanitarian forum followed by an official reception at the Kremlin will open the 2026 edition. Both private sectors will have the opportunity to discover the real potential of the Russian and African market, explore new commercial offers and develop more sustained professional networks.
On 29 October, a plenary session co-chaired by President Vladimir Putin and President Evarist Ndayishimiye of the African Union will lead to the adoption of a political declaration, an action plan 2027-2029 and an unpublished text on the civilian use of artificial intelligence.
Private business clubs, as well as equivalents from our chambers of commerce, industry, agriculture and services, from 22 republics within the Russian Federation, in relation to VRPs (traveller, representative and placid) are preparing « side events » for entrepreneurs to allow B to B meetings with potential investors.
From « matchmaking » to the pure Russian tradition through, inter alia, the promotion of the Eurasian Economic Union's system of tariff preferences which allows 47 African countries to benefit from exemptions or reductions in export tariffs.
Since April 2026, the international Russian-sophile movement (MIR), an international non-governmental organization with members from more than 43 countries on all five continents that advocates multipolarity without any political or ideological consideration, peace in the world, the maintenance and protection of traditional human values and friendship between Russia and all the nations of the world, has been chaired by an African, Senegalese surcroit, Dr Souleymane Anta Ndiaye.
Interestingly, the constituent congress of MIR in 2023 in Moscow recorded the presence of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. The latter had sent a message of friendliness and goodwill to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
In this fragmented world, it is certain that when politics, economics and culture work at the same pace, the benefits will be sustained to the benefit of nations.
